Art has always been therapeutic for me. I love to get lost in the process and come out the other end refreshed. I have experimented with many different media over the years and particularly enjoyed working on coloured pencil portraits, until I finally discovered acrylic paints. I love the bold colours on offer with this medium and developed a style that suited my need for small detailed brush strokes while at the same time allowing stylized simplicity to be the focus. The paintings add a splash of colour that sparks joy.
